African Perspective- Are Teachers a priority any more?

Of course, you can take a wild guess on  what to expect, before going through this writing…The grievances go on still more especially among us Africans; What makes me wonder is- Are we also imitating what the developed countries have adopted?

Who among us doubts ‘a teacher’s role in society’ and ‘who is to change a teacher’s welfare?’

We have to admit that all that is faced by the teachers in especially East Africa doesn’t give me a good future prediction, since we are ‘all striving for development’ and the ‘teachers’, I don’t see them inboard!
