When I was a child, seven years old there there, I was always given one slice of bread at tea time, which was okay until I realised the adults got two!! I didnāt understand it. Did they think I couldnāt finish it? Was it my baby teeth they were worried about? Did they not know Iād started losing them and replacing them with much better teeth that could chew those two slices to nothingness? I couldnāt wait to become an adult too so I could eat two slices of bread at teatime!! So many years later, itās so easy to laugh at how trivial my thoughts were. I mean; bread?!!
Of course as I got older, my dreams of adulthood became more ārealā. Or so I thought.
